CARE Pathways relies on talented and creative staff to make its program model work in each of its country offices. In Bangladesh, Mr. Arshad Hossain, Technical Manager for Pathways in Bangladesh, is a results-driven professional with extensive experience in program Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, KM and Reporting. Arshad began working with Pathways in 2014 after coming from a position with Save the Children and Project Concern International. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration, Masters in Business Administration & Masters in Development Studies. His responsibilities include leading and guiding the implementation of research and M&E activities such as developing the M&E plan, methodology and tools for data analysis, and producing recommendations.

Moving forward, Arshad is very excited about being part of Pathways. He hopes to “make the most of this opportunity to consolidate, correct, and scale up” the Pathways FFBS model. With his guidance, Pathways Bangladesh has deployed the e-PPT to strengthen monitoring and developing a robust system that shortens feedback loops up and down the operational chain to enable staff and managers to make more effective and informed decisions. Arshad is most proud of the team’s innovative use of the participatory performance tracker (PPT), a tool designed to help staff track and analyze their own gender-related behavior changes.
