Ivy has recently joined the Malawi Pathways team as the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. In her role she is responsible for monitoring gender behavioral changes with the use of gender dialogue tools, providing technical support to the Pathways program personnel, and information management of project outputs, outcomes, and impact.
Ivy has a degree in Agriculture with a major in Nutrition from the University of Malawi, and has completed some course work for an MSc in Research Methods. Prior to joining the Pathways team Ivy worked with NGOs and research organizations as well as doing her own consultancy around data management.
She is excited to work for CARE because of its dedication and commitment to improving people’s welfare. She looks forward to learning new things in the Monitoring and Evaluation field and from the Pathways program as a whole. Ivy’s favorite aspect of working within Pathways specifically is the direct change she can see happening in farmer’s lives by allowing them to have better crop yields and to sell at better prices.
