It’s with great pleasure that we introduce Nurul Amin Siddiquee who has joined the (dynamic) Pathways core team and FNS teams at CARE USA as Technical Advisor for Sustainable Agriculture. Siddiquee will spend majority of his time supporting the Pathways Program and contribute significantly to the FNS strategy in the area of Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change. He comes with 15 years of experience in multiple large scale development projects and has been a six-time leader of CARE-implemented projects in Bangladesh.
Over the last ten years he has consistently integrated participatory, gender-transformative, and pro-poor economic development strategies to inform his expertise in food and non-food agriculture value chains, other natural resource sectors, micro enterprise and inclusive business development. He has managed USAID, the EU, Gates Foundation, Cargill and many other private foundation funded programs among his repertoire of donor and partner experience. Before joining CARE he served the WorldFish Center, Environment and Social Development Organization, and the International Center for Diarrheal Disease Research Center for many years.
Siddiquee holds two masters degrees- one in Tropical ecology from University of Bremen and the other in Fisheries sciences from University of Dhaka. He coauthored CAREs recent book on Making Market More Inclusive: Lessons from CARE and the future of sustainability in agriculture Value Chains development.
