Pathways at Feed the Future’s Yield Gap Conference

On November 3rd, Pathways Team Leader Emily Hillenbrand and Program Manager Salome Mhango moderated a session along with Michigan State Assistant Professor Andrew Dillon at a workshop presented by the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Assets and Market Access in Washington DC.

The session they led focused on beliefs and behavior by exploring the impacts of social networks on farmer learning and uptake of new technologies. They also discussed how underlying gender beliefs and behaviors are impediments to women’s productivity and success in agriculture.
